“Praise the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits – who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion, who satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagles.” Psalm 103:2-5
As you go about your day today raising your children, loving your husband, running errands, dancing in pointe shoes, teaching ballet classes, whatever it is, remind your soul to stop every once in a while and remember all the beautiful benefits of knowing the One who saved you by His grace. Nurture your soul by remembering….
~Any sin you have ever committed – past, present, future – is completely forgiven because of Jesus
~He is your healer
~He has saved you from eternal separation from Him and crowns you with His love and compassion so that You can one day spend an eternity with Him and so that You can live an abundant life while on earth
~He satisfies your desires with GOOD things that make you feel young! I love that!
What an awesome God we serve! How creative our God is! How amazing is it that we do not have to EARN our salvation! How amazing that our God wants us to have fun and enjoy life! How amazing that we can talk to the God of the universe at any time! How amazing that He will help me with big issues and little issues! How amazing!
Praise Him as you remember His benefits, and be prepared for your soul to be filled!
Amazing Love:
“I’m forgiven because He was forsaken
I’m accepted, He was condemned
And I’m alive and well
His Spirit is within me
because He died and rose again.
Amazing love, how can it be
That You my king would die for me?
Amazing love, I know it’s true”
Prayer: “Jesus, words cannot fully express my thanks for you. Help me better understand Your beautiful benefits. Help me think on these truths that I am forgiven, You are my healer, You crown me with love and compassion, and You satisfy my desires.”

Love that song “Amazing Love”…. how can it be? What a great reminder to “stop” and acknowledge his Goodness to us! We should never let the “busyness” of life draw us away from praising Him. :)
