“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways, acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight.” Proverbs 3:5-6
I have often received this correction in my dancing… “give your heart” to the audience.
It’s this invitation to give your whole self, your whole heart…all your passion…to the audience. It’s basically a letting go in order to fully give.
This Christmas God is inviting you to GIVE YOUR HEART to Him.
He’s inviting you to give your whole self, your whole heart…all your passion…to Him. He’s inviting you to let go of the reins of your life in order to fully give your life to Him.
We all have dreams. We all have desires. And maybe, like me, you write some of those dreams and desires down. I want to encourage you to take all of those dreams, all of those desires, all of your heart, all of your aspirations…
and give your heart to God.
Here’s the greatest news…
Your heart is safest in His hands. Your dreams, your desires, your aspirations…are all safest in His hands. He wants to shape, re-shape, mold, transform, and yes, even change sometimes…the desires of your heart.
He’s a heart-shaper. He wants to shape your heart.
As you give your heart to Jesus, He will shape your heart.
Maybe you have been wondering what you are supposed to do in life.
Maybe you have been wondering what the next step is supposed to be.
Maybe you have a dream in your heart that’s trying to bust out, but you don’t know where to start or if it’s a good idea or not.
Give your heart to the Lord. He will guide it. He will shape it. He knows where you need to go, what you’re supposed to do, and what dreams you need to step into to…
He knows it all…
The first step is to give your heart to Him.
Write down your questions, your concerns, your prayers, and your doubts. Write it all down to Him or pour it all out to Him in prayer. That’s giving your heart to Him.
He will do the rest, sweet one.
Prayer: “Sweet Lord, I give my heart to You. Shape it, remake it, mold it, transform it. Thank you for loving me so personally.”
