KEEP PRAYING BIG

Keep praying big, dear dancing hearts! Sometimes, I know for me, I slip into kind of a small-faith mentality in my prayers. I kind of hate to bother God with things that seem kind of surface, dreams that may not matter in the grand scheme of life, prayers that are just fun things that I am hoping for or would love to see come into fruition. But here’s all I know…God LOVES it when His daughters pray. He loves it when His daughters talk to Him, ask Him for the things she feels Him nudging her to ask…He LOVES it. He loves it when we pray because prayer is intimacy with Him. He does not roll His eyes at us when we ask for those things that are dear to us…you know, I think maybe He simply smiles and His sweet heart swells up with joy because He knows that for us to ask these things in prayer means that we have faith in Him…we trust Him…we know He will answer in the way that He sees fit, even if it’s different than we desire. He is God of our desires and thank goodness because our desires can be deceiving and take us down curvy paths into the wrong paths. So He refines our desires. So dancing heart, pray with confidence, pray with honesty, and trust the God of the universe to answer in the way He sees fit. Pray for those impossible things, pray for those silly things, pray casual prayers, pray funny prayers, and pray big prayers. What are you praying for today?
